Yves Jeanmotte
Co-Founder | Former F-16 Pilot | Boeing 747 Captain
Yves Jeanmotte’s passion for aviation began with gliding, where he first discovered the fundamentals of flying. He later became a competitive glider pilot, developing the precision, energy management and discipline that would shape his entire aviation career.
He later joined the Belgian Air Force, flying the F-16 with the 2nd Squadron at Florennes Air Base. This experience in high-performance military aviation remains at the heart of the philosophy behind Viper Unit.
Throughout his career, Yves has also been deeply involved in flight instruction, serving as an instructor on the SIAI-Marchetti, Boeing 737-400, and Airbus A300.
Today, he continues his professional flying career as a Boeing 747-400 Captain, bringing decades of experience in military aviation, commercial aviation and flight instruction to Viper Unit.
At Viper Unit, his objective is to offer something far beyond a conventional flight simulator: an immersive dual-seat F-16 experience, where guests fly from the front cockpit while being personally guided from the rear seat by someone who has actually flown the F-16.
From competitive gliding to fighter aviation and the Boeing 747 — a lifetime of flying, now brought into the Viper Unit experience.
